Thrive Theme Builder WooCommerce Compatibility

 March 22, 2020

By  Peter Nyiri

Does Thrive Theme Builder support WooCommerce? I had been waiting for this release for a year and I really wanted to migrate my site over.

First it was very disappointing to find out at the release that the Shapeshift theme released along with TTB had no WooCommerce support.

Thrive Theme Builder is now fully WooCommerce compatible.

It was built to work with WooCommerce hooks and filters out-of-the-box. This means that if you have extensions such as support for different product variations or types, then unless those extensions are doing something wildly unexpected, they’ll work with Theme Builder straight away.

To get started, visit the Thrive Theme Builder Site Wizard and look for Step 12: ‘Download and activate WooCommerce shop templates’.

This will download and activate the templates for your site.

Theme Builder WooCommerce Templates

Now you’ll see templates for those pages:

  • Product: Where you set the image, price and inventory of a product.
  • Shop: Where all of your products are listed at once.
  • Account: Where customers manage their details and orders.
  • Cart: A dynamic list of items a user wishes to purchase.
  • Checkout: Where payment is collected and orders are processed.

The WooCommerce shop template is a special page that lists all of the products you have for purchase. Thrive Theme Builder comes with 9 different shop templates to choose from.

When you edit the shop template, you can change the header, footer, top section, bottom section and sidebar just as you would with any other theme template.

WooCommerce Elements

Not only will you have available templates, but when you open the Thrive Theme Builder editor on any of these templates (or Thrive Architect on regular posts and pages), you’ll have access to a whole new set of elements:
