It is an all-in-one marketing tool created by French entrepreneur Aurelien Amacker. He used to manage his contacts in Ontraport, however he faced serious challenges, compatibility issues, bugs, and the service was rather expensive.
Therefore he decided to develop a tool that would fulfill his expectations and hired developers to build the tool for him.
In December 2019 they hit $1 million in annual recurring revenue and they are growing by 5 to 8% each month.
In case you are wondering, they use Systeme.io to run their entire business, including their affiliate program.
And since they also manage their entire email list with this system, every contact on their email list is an affiliate, so there is no need to register as an affiliate. This reduces friction.

Systeme.io General Settings
1. White Label By Adding Your Domain
When you sign up for your free plan, you get a subdomain like this: username.systeme.io.
In order to add your own domain, you need to upgrade to the $47 plan. (I don’t really know why the $27 Startup plan or the free plan don’t have such option, it would be a great way to attract users.)
2. Payment Gateways
The available payment gateways are PayPal (you need a PayPal Business account) and Stripe.
To connect PayPal, you need to add your API Username, Password and Signature.
It is also necessary to set up your PayPal IPN URL in Systeme.io -this is how we know whether or not a payment was made successfully.
3. Mailing List Settings
In the first lightbox you can edit your confirmation email for double opt-in.

4. Affiliate Settings
You can choose PayPal, Wire Transfer and TransferWise.
You can set the default commission you want to pay, the minimum payment amount and payment delay.
You can also set up the affiliate links that your affiliates can promote.
You can set up the following notifications:
- Notify me by email each time I have made a new sale as a vendor
- Send an invoice by email each time a customer (individual) has made a payment to me
- Send an invoice by email each time a customer (company)has made a payment to me
- Notify me by email each time I have made a new sale as an affiliate
- Receive an invoice by email each time I have made a payment
Creating Funnels With Systeme.io
There are 3 pre-made funnel structures available:
- Build an audience
- Sell a product or a service
- Run an evergreen webinar
- + Build a custom funnel from scratch
The product funnel by default has an order form and a Thank You page.
You can choose several skins for each.
In the Create New Step menu you can add other pages:
- Squeeze Page
- Inline Form
- Pop-up Forms
- Opt-In & Thank You Page
- Sales Page
- Webinar pages (Registration, Thank You, Broadcast)
- Info Page
Then you can edit the the page with the drag & drop editor.
Each content block has 4 different options (orange color):
- Save as Master Block
In the settings option you can set things like Input Type, colors, margins, etc.
