A survey done by ProBlogger a few years ago found that 81% of bloggers never make even $100. (See chart on the image.)
Per ProBlogger, only 4 percent makes more than $10,000 per month.
At the other end of the scale, there are blogs making $150,000 per year or even millions of dollars.
But 85 percent in the “more than $10,000” category have been blogging for more than 4 years.
Many people think that internet marketing and money making niches are the best, however this is not true.
In fact, these are one of the worst converting niches. If you have a blog about sports gear, your conversion rate and sales are actually much higher.

Can You Make Money With A Blog?
The reasons why people don’t make money with their website are simple.
- They are simply overwhelmed from the over 120 blogging functions
- It takes too long for them to find out that the steps they took actually didn’t bring results and therefore they waste months.
- They don’t have something to sell that people are willing to pay for
- They don’t know how to create proper content
- They don’t know how to promote their content
Real money ALWAYS comes from a properly set up affiliate site, service business, sales funnel that has traffic flowing through.
It takes especially long to find out what works if your site is new and therefore most newbies do it “blind”.
Throwing up a few (or even 50) random affiliate links is not going to make you money.
